From the Founder
The AME Stories was never something I carefully planned. Looking back, I truly believe it was God’s plan unfolding in His perfect time, and His grace has been the foundation of this journey.
I have always loved painting, and what began as creating pieces for myself slowly grew into the AME Stories. As an architect, I’ve learned that architecture and art don’t compete—they beautifully complement each other, shaping the way I see and create.
Every saree and every dress is hand-painted by me, one piece at a time, with love, patience, and intention. My hope is to create pieces that remain beautiful and meaningful long after seasons and trends have passed.
Nothing compares to hearing from someone who felt beautiful, confident, and truly themselves while wearing the AME Stories, or seeing the memories they’ve made in it. Those moments are the heart of this journey and the reason I continue to create.
This dream has been made possible through God’s faithfulness and the unwavering love and support of my husband, my daughter, my parents, my in-laws, our family, friends, and everyone who believed in me. What began as my Amma’s dream is now a dream we are blessed to live together.
